“The fires of Goku’s temper have flared, and his rage now burns with a heat of a mighty inferno. Will Goku’s unsettling transformation prove to be Frieza’s nightmare?” - Dragon Ball Z Kai, Ep. 47 The Toonami Trending Rundown for November 14-15, 2015. Week 2 of Intruder 2 is in the books as Toonami, #Intruder2 and every show managed to trend during their respective East Coast airings. It was announced a few hours ago that Toonami Asia will be World Premiering the English Dub of Dragon Ball Super in Mid-2016 Here is the Press release which we obtained from ANN(Anime News Network): HONG KONG (NOVEMBER 10, 2015) – Toonami, Turner's kids brand dedicated to delivering the best superhero and action-adventure animation in South and Southeast Asia, has snapped up the latest instalment of the Dragon Ball franchise from Toei Animation.
Dragon Ball Super is the first all-new Dragon Ball television series to be produced in nearly 20 years, and will make its pan-regional launch on Toonami in mid-2016. It will be an exclusive first-run premiere on Toonami in Southeast Asia and India, which will also be its English-language world premiere.
“This announcement is huge for fanboys and girls in Asia. Dragon Ball is undoubtedly the original and world's biggest anime export, and is a cornerstone of our programming on Toonami,” said Mark Eyers, Chief Content Officer for Turner's Kids Networks in Asia Pacific. “Since the channel launched in 2012, Toonami has been airing episodes of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Z Kai, and to premiere Dragon Ball Super demonstrates the channel's continued commitment to securing must-have and must-see content, first on Toonami.”
Reuniting the franchise's iconic characters, Dragon Ball Super follows the aftermath of Goku's fierce battle with Majin Buu, as he attempts to maintain earth's fragile peace. Overseen by Dragon Ball's original creator, Akira Toriyama and produced with Fuji Television, Dragon Ball Super will draw on its historic past to create a bold, new universe welcoming to fans and endearing to new viewers.
Introduced as a manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1984, Dragon Ball has evolved into a globally beloved brand. Seen around the world, with over 230 million copies of its comic books sold, Dragon Ball is one of the most popular anime franchises of all time.
Series Synopsis: The threat of Majin Buu has passed, and Goku and friends are finally living in peace. The day of Bulma's birthday party arrives, and everyone gets together again for the first time in ages. Then Beerus, the God of Destruction, appears. Goku gets his friends' help to become the legendary Super Saiyan God, and gets into a fierce fight with Beerus, but he's not quite as powerful as the God of Destruction. Beerus ends the fight, and informs Goku of a shocking fact. This universe where Goku and crew live is only one of 12. What's more, each universe has its own God of Destruction, which means there might be opponents out there even stronger than Beerus! The story now moves into a new phase. Now the world of Dragon Ball reaches a new dimension that's beyond imagination.
UPDATE(11/13/15): We have learned from Kanzenshuu.com that Funimation has commented in reference to the English Dub for Toonami Asia. This is what they said: It is still unknown at this time who is behind the English Dub. We will keep you updated as we find out more. Let us know what you think about this huge announcement by commenting below.

“Kakashi-sensei. Do you remember what you told me during training? You said I’m the only Shinobi who will surpass the Fourth Hokage, and you meant what you said. Look, I know that teamwork’s important, but right now I need to cross this bridge and cross it alone, no matter how dangerous a bridge it turns out to be. If I can’t work my way to the other side, I’ll just be a kid forever. So please. Please. Don’t take away my chance to prove what I could do.” - Naruto Uzumaki, Naruto Shippuden (Ep. 88) The Toonami Trending Rundown for November 7-8, 2015. These are exciting times for the Toonami Faithful as the highly anticipated Intruder 2 event has finally arrived. As a result, Toonami and every show had trended in the US during their respective East Coast airings in addition to both #Intruder2 and Red Alert trending as a result of the first episode airing throughout the duration of the block. Especially considering the buzz of Donald Trump hosting SNL at the same time, among other events, that’s not bad at all. “You were lucky to die with all your parts intact. Don’t take something like that for granted.” - Akame, Akame ga Kill! (Ep. 11) The Toonami Trending Rundown for October 31-November 1, 2015. As this week came on the night of Halloween and the end of Daylight Savings, the Trick-or-Treats from TOM and Sara came in the form of an Akame ga Kill marathon. As a result, #AkameGaKill trended in the US for over the course of four hours in addition to Toonami. Tune in next week as the long awaited Intruder 2 event begins among other great moments. “Franky! Thanks, the ship is great. Just like you said it’s the best. We’ll take good care of it. […] Oh, and hate to break it to you, but if you want your undies back, then you’re going to have to join our crew.” - Monkey D. Luffy, One Piece (Ep. 321) The Toonami Trending Rundown for October 24-25, 2015. A good night for trending as Toonami and every show had trended in the US. In addition, Intruder 2 also trended as we were treated to a promo of the upcoming event which is only just 2 weeks away, and One Piece in particular also produced a character trend with Franky as he completes the ship but he is reluctant to join the Strawhats, but they and the Franky family attempt to get him to join anyway…by stealing his briefs. Next week is Halloween, in addition to the end of Daylight Savings, so for those that can’t make it due to Halloween parties, Toonami will be showcasing episodes 3-11 of Akame ga Kill, so for those that were late to the Akame party, now is a great time to catch up. Until then, stay gold as always. Legend: The shows listed are ordered based on their appearance on the schedule. Show trends are listed in bold. So recently it has been brought to my attention that there has been some trolling going on in regards to the trending videos, trending rundown, and just trending and ratings in general.
I'm not going to say who the people are but I will say this, no one has, at least among the fansites for that matter, forced anyone to do anything they did not want to. No one has called anyone out for not watching the whole block or not tweeting everything, no one has said if you don't do this then you are not a Toonami fan no one has ever said that!
We are just putting information out there for the fans. So they can understand and if they chose to, follow that information. If not, well than alright that is okay too. You can't force someone to do something they don't want to do.
Also it's one thing to point out flaws and/or constructive criticism but when you give a criticism and then follow it with an insult, like example " (insert criticism here) Otherwise, you get one extra L." When you do the last part, your criticism is pretty much invalid when you insult the person like that. Joke or not, some people cannot tell on social media if that's what it is, simply a joke, especially if you rarely interact with said person. It just doesn't translate well, unless you make it obvious before hand that you were 'just kidding" or "joking" around.
NO ONE has ever said if you don't listen to us and follow this information then you are not a Toonami Fan and no one has said that they are less of a Toonami Fan than people who do follow the information that is put out there. We are nothing more than a channel to put forth information that our fans, Toonami fans, desire. And if that means putting out trending videos, rundowns, ratings and tweets, than that is just what we are gonna do. And so I don't know where in the hell this these people are getting that from, but if you don't want to be bothered with it, then don't follow us. Or just simply ignore it! No one is forcing you to look at it!

“Tatsumi, if they manage to kill you, you aren’t that much of a man. But you’re stronger than that, aren’t you? You’re powerful, a survivor. I feel it, Tatsumi. I can’t help but believe our paths might cross again. No, ill make sure of it. And when they do, ill force you to accept my feelings for you. I’m coming for you, my love.” - Esdeath, Akame ga Kill! (Ep. 10) The Toonami Trending Rundown for October 17-18, 2015. A pretty good night for trending all things considered as Toonami and every show had managed to trend in the US during their respective East Coast airings, in addition to #DBZKai during it’s encore presentation and Toonami trending on Tumblr. We also got a character trend in Esdeath (the first of such for Akame ga Kill), as she attempts to abduct Tatsumi for her own romantic endeavors, but manages to escape. (This article explores issues that I feel are currently bringing the Toonami Community down.) Back during the CN Days of Toonami, in my opinion, Toonami taught all of us to follow our dreams, accomplish what we want to accomplish and most importantly achieve those dreams by pursuing them the right way. Through everything Toonami has done to this point, it has managed to change and save many people's lives on top of entertaining people as well. I've heard many people say this over the years since Toonami's been back and, well I'm one of those people. I never had any friends growing up. I was always picked on at school and never really had anyone to talk to at home. However, when I would put on Toonami and see all of the speeches Tom gave and all the promos put together between shows. I always specifically remember the "Broken Promise (Dreams)" promo. This promo gave me the notion to never give up and never give in. Toonami prevented me from giving into despair like many others. To all of us, Toonami meant the world. So when everyone heard there was a chance of it coming back, I remember everyone rallying together to bring it back. Since then though, I feel that nowadays the Toonami Community is divided. Simply put, I've seen there's this hatred and animosity among us now. People attacking and belittling others because someone likes a show they don't like or vice versa. Telling each other they need to die or kill themselves so on and so on. The worst part of it is that, its not just the haters that seem to be doing this but some of the fans as well. I hate to say it but I feel its getting to the point where people don't even want to be on twitter anymore and are beginning to leave. A few months back during the SAO civil war, (as it was called) it got really extreme. I had friends who were attacked for no reason and it pissed me off so much that I ended up posting these two tweets.
Then I started getting replies back saying that they were getting attacked as well. @michelleruffvo1 (Voice Actor of Sword Art Online) got in contact with me
and then she started getting involved trying to end all of the nonsense.
Then about two weeks later Toonami came out with the Bullies Speech. I'm relieved that things have calm down a bit since then, but I still see it going on nonetheless. My intentions are not to call anyone out, but rather to call out the issues of hate among the fans. There are fansites out there who claim to support Toonami and although I think their intentions are true, they come off as egotistical. I feel that they have let all the success go to their heads and now look down upon the rest of us fans as if they are better and or more important than us to the Toonami cause. If you ask me, they have forgotten the core ideals of Toonami and honestly these days I feel like the phrase Toonami Faithful isn't who we are, but more of a brand name. What the hell happened to us Toonami fans? I mean seriously, I never imagined things would be like this when Toonami came back. While I was going over @erockstar5s SAO article, I thought he hit it right on the nail when he said, it will be us the fans who will bring Toonami to its demise again. Now with that being said, it does not matter what shows you like or dislike or which fansite is better or not. I'm certainly not trying to start a war or anything withen the fandom. That's the last thing I or any loyal Toonami fan would want in the the Toonami Community at this point. We already have enough hate going on, but seriously please! All of this infighting and egotistical crap needs to STOP NOW! The reason why is because if this keeps up, its not going to be a show, its not going to be the ratings or even a single person that cause's Toonami's demise again. Its going to be us, the fans who will cause Toonami's demise like I said before. I strongly feel we need to straighten all of this crap out now and get our acts together because at the end of the day, dont we all have the same goal? Support Toonami however way we can and help keep it going for as long as possible? We may disagree on many things but one sentiment we can agree on is this, we love Toonami and want it to remain on air. Be mindful with what you say before you post and focus instead on the one thing that unites us all. Our love for Toonami.
