Link:Conversation With Genndy Tartakovsky www.cartoonbrew.com/ Recently Toonami classic Samurai Jack and recent Toonami classic Sym Bionic Titan was talked about by creator Genndy Tartakovsky in a interview on CartoonBrew com about their current status and other things. To summarize Samurai Jack maybe still in the works for something down the line. Their's been talks recently about a movie in the near future and Genndy addresses these rumors. Below is a link to Samurai Jack's intro just in case for a reminder of what Samurai Jack is. Sym Bionic Titan Genndy mentions he does have ten scripts written progressing forward from where the show's run ends. He's not sure what the future may hold for Titan but one things for sure, Titan isn't coming back anytime soon sadly. We can only hope someone else picks up where Cartoon Network left off. Genndy thinks Cartoon Network would give him back the rights to Titan...I just hope he's right cause we've seen where this usually goes...but anyway here's Toonami's 2014 promo show off Sym Bionic Titan.
I also want to take advantage of giving a shout out to this Popeye concept test footage Genndy was working on. He makes mention of it in the article and in my opinion, this would have been an interesting take on Popeye. Watching this for the first time put a simile on my face and even after re watching it again while writing this article up made me laugh and put a good old smile on my face again. Wish it became a thing but check it out if you like I recommend it. Overall I completely recommend this interview you get a little bit of insight in the tv business and such. Read it through if you so choose.
